Galentine's Day Shoot in Vogue Living
It was the soft winter light and pastel-hued sunsets on the Côte d'Azur that inspired me to create a shoot around the theme of escape for Galentine's Day. The wildness of the natural landscape and botanical diversity was used as a starting point when designing this shoot.
The venue for this styled shoot, the Warehouse restaurant in Nice was selected because it boasts a spectacular view over the seafront in Nice featuring the iconic palm trees that have long been synonymous with the balmy exoticism and glamour of the French Riviera coastline. A beautiful selection of decorations was kindly provided by the online party shop Save the Deco.
The Galentines party tablescape was centred on soft pastels through touches of rose-tinted vintage glassware and hand-painted marbled serviettes to echo the movement of the sea. I sprayed leaves with gold to add a touch of elegance and to reflect the exotic palm trees on the seafront in Nice.
