- How has social media helped you raise awareness of your work?

Social media has certainly given me a great deal of exposure with my work and allows for conversations with great minds in the industry that I wouldn’t necessarily have had the chance to speak to or work with otherwise. Social media has mapped such an opportune and exciting path for me since starting my blog Living In Clips in late 2012, it has given me focus, passion and direction. It is truly the most exciting hobby to date.

- Do you refer to blogs for inspiration?

I obsessively look at blogs on a dailybasis. It’s a morning ritual. It’s an afternoon and night ritual, as well. The reason why I started my own blog was thanks to Sandra Hagelstam’s (5 Inch and Up) beautifully photographed personal style blog. These days Natalie Joos (Tales of Endearment) brings most of my inspiration. Jesse Draxler's collage work is another blog I go to for inspiration – he’s genius. BIP LING is another blogger I should mention – for her youthful visual artistry and humour. I find it just as interesting to follow a blog as they are often just as visually (and audibly) rich as an editorial in a magazine.

- Any tips for a creative who wants to start their own project?

Do it and dont hesitate over it. It’s the best creative outlet where you can showcase your work and any part of your personality. From here you can explore and create and invent in anyway you want and invite people to delve into your world. Do it right away and then turn it upside down, you never know what it might lead to creatively.

- What's the future looking like for Living in Clips?

I’d like to continue promoting British fashion on my blog, as I already do, and photographing street style at Fashion Week and backstage more seriously, perhaps on a full time basis if Living in Clips will allow me to do so. I am currently working on and about to launch my own label, RIACHI STUDIO, at Paris Fashion Week at the end of the month.

 -  What's your favourite thing to eat?

YES! YES! I love to eat, particularly Lebanese food. There is a great Lebanese sandwich place here in Paris, and this is by far my favourite. However, I have recently discovered Ceviche (a raw peruvian fish dish). They have a fantastic restaurant around the corner from me here in Paris. I just bought the recipe book and I'm looking forward to hosting a Ceviche dinner party soon.  My favourite go to places in Paris and Edinburgh can all be found on my blog.

- What's your favourite thing to make?

A new concept for a blog post and creating that.

- What's your favourite thing to do?

Cycling through the streets of Paris or walking in a beautiful forest in Scotland with my headphones playing something loud - like radiohead, with my camera in hand.
