After having admired her work for quite some time we wanted to find out a bit more about her inspirations and recent projects.
How has social media helped you raise awareness of your work?
I think it's now so much easier to get things out there, to share new projects or work in progress or just personal inspirations. I think social media helps in its immediacy and makes it really easy to have an online presence, especially as things can be shared and your profile has the potential to snowball.
Do you refer to any blogs for inspiration?
Tumblr is definitely an endless rabbit hole of inspiration, I can get lost for hours looking at images that lead on to the next person and next person’s visual landscape. I love the ‘but does it float’ blog because it has such a vast range of inspirational artists, old and new. I also have the hrstudio blog bookmarked because its always so full of fresh and interesting content.
What projects have you got in the pipeline?
Im currently doing the artwork for Diagrams' second album called Chromatics which is due out in the winter. I’m also working on designing some glasses and sunglasses for an australian label called colab, which is super exciting.
